I have roughly 20-ish of these lists all scattered around my desk in various states of completion as I've been slowly but steadily working through this assignment. I am a chronic lister. I find it easier to focus on tasks if I map everything I need to do out into smaller, bite sized tasks that feel more manageable. This way I can happily work through and tick off each small milestone of my game creation, without panicking over the sheer size of this assignment.
It's worked quite effectively so far. I generally make one list full of every small task that needs to be completed before the hand in, and then I also create a schedule for each week, listing what exactly I want to have finished by the end of each day. It really helps in seeing the big picture, and planning effectively to be the most productive in the timeframe given.
